Summary

Description Dr. Jennifer Lippincott-Schwartz uses biology, physics, chemistry, mathematical modeling, engineering, and computer science to study how cells and their parts are organized and behave. Her innovative use of live cell imaging at the molecular level has enabled her laboratory to learn how cells function, and to compare healthy and diseased conditions. She was elected to the National Academy of Sciences in 2008.
