Summary

Description
English: Hurricane Isaias as a strong tropical storm, speeding through the Mid-Atlantic region and the Northeast. Forming from a tropical wave on July 30, it moved through the Caribbean, dropping heavy rain and bringing high winds before becoming a hurricane August 1st. It moved through the Bahamas, briefly weakening into a tropical storm late the same day, before intensifying again into a hurricane as it made landfall in North Carolina on August 4th. It then slowly weakened before becoming extratropical on August 5th.
