Summary

Description
English: The inside of Saint Mary's Church of Ireland Kentstown facing the alter. Above the pews on the wall on either side are many different plagues dedicated to different people's family members. Most of the plagues were dedicated to the Athlumeny and Somerville families who were great benefactors of the church throughout the years. They actually had to ban plagues because the wall would be smothered with them. The Somervilles and Athlumeny families are long gone from the area, with the local Somerville house just a quick walk away sold years ago. The Somerville family mausoleum is located behind the church. The main stained glass window behind the alter known as the "Rose" was dedicated to Lady Athlumenys late husband.
