English: Inscribed copper-plate ('tamar-patar' [alt. spelt as 'tamar-patra', 'tamra-patra', and alt. known as 'tamra-shasan' or 'tamarashasana']) gifted by Guru Gobind Singh to a Brahmin named Bhadia of the Naina Devi temple near Kesgarh [Anandpur]. Quote from "Das Gur Kathā: ‘A Narration of the Ten Gurus’ by Kavi Kankan" by Kamalrool Singh (page 116):

"As previously narrated, there were copper plates commissioned by the Tenth Guru. Another plate is located at the temple of Naina Devi, as seen earlier, and bears the inscriptions of the Tenth Guru. The presentation of the plate is recorded in the eighteenth-century text the Sudharam Marag Granth it states that the Guru visited the temple and bestowed the plate on the custodian Bhadia.*’ He was the head priest undertaking the havan and the Guru paid him 100,000 rupees. Bhadia requested to the Guru that ‘this kind of money will not stay with me. Please give me more than just a payment that my family and Sikhs will worship and treasure for a long time to come.’ The Guru requested that on a copper plate a Hukam or order to be written. The writing is in the style that we see in the hukamnamas of the Guru and also in the Khas patre of the Dasam Granth Sahib. This style of writing is known as the shikasta style of writing."

Translation of the inscription on the copper plate by G. S. Mann:

"Salutations to Naina (Namo Naine). Bhadia is our priest (purohit). Those who follow us should acknowledge him."
