Description
English: The logbook of HMS Euryalus (1803) at the start of the Battle of Trafalgar. The famous message sent by Admiral Nelson is shown on the right hand page, about half way down. It is interspersed with the ordinary recordings of a ship's log, being immediately followed by "At noon, light winds..." The logbook is held in the Nelson Collection at Lloyd's of London. The message reads "England expects that every many will do his duty".
