Description

Homemade chloralkali process. The left container is the anode. The shower tube is the salt bridge. It is stuffed with a salty tissue. 24 volts transformer with bridge rectifier is on far right. Right container is the anode. Hydrogen gas and sodium hydroxide are being produced. Some ferrous hydroxide is in the anode container, giving it a gray-green coloration.
