Summary

Description
English: The Holy Trinity Church was dedicated in 24 June 1908, in Karamea, on the West Coast of New Zealand. The settlement had not preciously had a church, and ministers travelled from Westport for services. After the crew of the Rangi were lost while sounding the Karamea Bar in 1906, the community raised funds for a permanent memorial in the form of an interdenominational church, which was built in three months.
