DescriptionHistoric fire station in old Toronto (27798476862).jpg
Historic fire station in the historic district of Old Toronto. This is Station 312, the oldest active station operated by Toronto Fire Services The modern one is situated alongside. The building in the immediate foreground was once the shed for the fire truck, but the doorway is too small for today's modern fire trucks. So rather than destroy the heritage building, they chose to leave it as it is and build a new shed for the engines alongside. Wise move. (Toronto, Canada, Nov.2015)
