English: Balagopal's temple located at Ranipokhar near Ratna Park in Kathmandu district or in front of Durbar School. This temple is also called Yamaleshwar, Bhrateshwar. According to ancient records, the Ranipokhari region is considered to be the abode of God. It is also called Vishnu Tirtha. This temple was built by Raj Pratap Malla in 1727 BS in memory of his untimely death. Later, this temple was renovated by Jung Bahadur Rana. This temple is open to the public on Bhaitika Day, one day of the year. There is a lot of devotees here.
