Summary

Description
English: The Tudor mansion of Henham, Suffolk, was probably built for Charles Brandon, Duke of Suffolk but was destroyed by fire in 1773. This lithograph made c. 1845 is based on an old drawing preserved at the later Henham Hall and interprets the appearance of the lost Tudor frontage as seen from within the courtyard. The figures, in costume of the 1840s, are anachronous. It is known that a drawing of these buildings was made soon after the fire.
