English: This head was part of a seated granodiorite statue of Thutmose IV, placed in front of a temple pylon. 18th Dynasty, reign of Thutmose IV, circa 1400-1390 BC. Probably from Thebes, Karnak, Temple of Amun-Ra, modern-day Egypt. Gift of W. R. Hamilton. It is currently housed in the British Museum in London.
