Summary

Description
English: Yangwu
Date circa 1880
date QS:P,+1880-00-00T00:00:00Z/9,P1480,Q5727902
Source Reproduction in [1]. Website incorrectly lists this as the Yangwu, but some Chinese characters have been photoshopped from the top right of the photo which reads the Yangwei. These are two different ships entirely, appears to be an error in the credit as the Yangwei wasn't built until a year after the photo was taken. Due to the gunports, Richard N.J. Wright in his book The Chinese Steam Navy believes it to be either a photo of either the Hai-an or Yu-yuen.
