Description
English: Haft Mewa is a Farsi word and literally means seven-fruits syrup. It is a delicacy prepared for the Nawruz celebration in major parts of Afghanistan. It is believed the fruits are picked up from seven different trees. In this photo, the fruits are almonds, pistachios, red raisins, apricot (dried), black raisins (currant), oleasters (Persian olive), and walnuts.
فارسی: هفت میوه یکی از خوراکه های نوروز است که در افغانستان رواج دارد. گفته شده که این خوراک از میوه های که از هفت درخت متفاوت چیده شده تهیه میشود. در این عکس میوه ها شامل؛ بادام، پسته، کشمش سرخ، غولنگ (زردالوی خشک)، کشمش سیاه (مویز)، سنجد و چارمغز (گردو) میباشد.
