English: 1884 Italianate house of Moses Biling Perine who was one of three brothers who founded the Doon Twine and cordage Company. It was the first successful mill that produced flax, twine and cordage in Upper Canada. The home features an asymmetrical design, brackets that feature a fleur de lis representing Perine's heritage, tall brick chimneys with cross patterns on them , flashed glass over the entrance doors.
