Description
English: Control panel for main electric propulsion motors onboard Oberon class submarine HMS Ocelot (launched 5 May 1962). The submarine is now preserved at the Chatham Historic Dockyard museum, Chatham, Kent, UK. Each propellor has a separate electric motor driven by power from the battery bank. Batteries were charged by dynamos driven by diesel engines.
