Salvia munzii—Munz's sage. the species is included in the CNPS Inventory of Rare and Endangered Plants on list 2B.2 (rare, threatened, or endangered in CA; common elsewhere ). Salvia munzii is restricted to the San Miguel mountains in San Diego County , where it is rare. The species is somewhat more common in northern Baja California but, even there, it faces pressures from agriculture and urban growth.
