English: German Scouts of the Federation Scout Europe (FSE; today: International Union of Guides and Scouts of Europe ) at a Scout Promise ceremony at the St. George's mountain near the Lake Balaton in Hungary.
Deutsch: Großfahrt des Pfadfinderstammes Ägypten mit den Pfadfindern der 73. Abteilung „Weißer Hirsch“ aus Tapolca. Fünf Tage lang fuhren beide Gruppen im Sommer 1992 entlang des nordostungarischen Oberlaufs der Theiß von Tiszabecs nach Gergelyiugornya. Anschließend gestaltete der Stamm Ägypten sein eigenes Programm. Ausgangspunkt dieses Programms war dabei stets das Anwesen des Pfadfinders Dr. József Nagy (von 1990 bis 1992 Bürgermeister von Tapolca) – Nagymalom – bei Törekpuszta südlich von Tapolca. Im Bild: Versprechensfeier am Sonntag, den 23. August, für mehrere Stammesangehörige an der Sankt-Georgskirche am Sankt-Georgsberg bei Tapolca. Abnahme des Versprechens durch den Stammesführer. Der Heilige Georg ist der Schutzpatron aller Pfadfinder. Bereits zwei Jahre zuvor hatten Pfadfinder des Stammes hier ihr Versprechen abgelegt. Auch die Nacht wurde an der Kirche verbracht. Am anderen Morgen ging es auf das Anwesen von Dr. Nagy zurück. Das Versprechen des Stammes war stets das 1930 in der DPSG eingeführte, das da lautete:
„Ich verspreche bei meiner Ehre,
daß ich mein Bestes tun will,
Gott, der Kirche und dem Vaterland zu dienen,
jederzeit und allen Menschen zu helfen und
dem Pfadfindergesetz zu gehorchen.“

Der anschließende Zusatz, der den „Grundlinien unserer Lebensauffassung“ von 1971 geschuldet war, lautete:

„Ich will zum Stamm Ägypten gehören
und verspreche den Leitlinien zu folgen.“
