DescriptionGresham Central TC - MAX station, from west (2011).jpg
The MAX light rail station at TriMet's Gresham Central Transit Center, viewed from the west. An outbound train is pulling away from the platform (this is the rear of the train). Mount Hood is visible in the distance. The building at left was originally (1986) a passenger shelter covering a wheelchair lift, but all wheelchair lifts on the MAX system were removed in late 1997 after TriMet's placement into service of low-floor light rail cars made them unneeded. Some of those shelters were later bricked-over on their open sides and made into storage buildings. From 1986 to 1996, this station had only a single track, with trains in both directions serving a single platform, the one on the left here.
