English: Grave of Daniel Gookin 1612 – 1687 Old Cambridge Burying Ground Cambridge MA near Harvard Square. He was an early settler and worker with Native American Indians His table tomb is topped with a heart-shaped inset by the Old Boston Stone Cutter, like that seen on the Thomas Savage stone in King's Chapel Burying Ground, Boston, MA. (see also the D. Farber article on the Savage stone, which discusses both and compares the family crests on the stone to that on a contemporaneous Smith portrait of Savage.
