Summary

Description
English: Named for C.G.Goodrich (from school teacher and farmer to merchant, he served as tax collector, constable, superintendent of schools and justice of the peace), who donated the land for the library and bequeathed a generous fund to operate it. Construction commenced in 1898; both Mr. Goodrich and his wife died before the building was dedicated in 1899.

Not just a library, but a museum as well: numerous photos, paintings and memorabilia of the area's past, with accompanying explanations.
