Summary

Description
English: God "Ea" (Sumerian Enki), holding a cup from which water emerges and flows. Initially, Ea was the patron god of Eridu. This is one of a pair of statues of Ea which were found at the entrance to the Sin Temple at Khorsabad, Ninawa, Iraq. 710-705 BCE. On display at the Iraq Museum in Baghdad, Iraq.
