Summary

Description

A ball-and-stick model of the glycine molecule, C2H5NO2, as the non-zwitterionic neutral tautomer found in the gas phase. This conformer (Ip/ttt) is calculated to be the most stable gas-phase glycine species, as discussed in T. Fornaro, I. Carnimeo, "Computer Simulations of Prebiotic Systems" in Reference Module in Chemistry, Molecular Sciences and Chemical Engineering (Elsevier, 2014) (see the ScienceDirect chemistry topic Glycine - an overview for an excerpt).
