English: This image shows the type section of the Glorieta Sandstone west of Rowe, New Mexico, USA. The lower red beds are the underlying Yeso Group; the grey beds at the top of the cliff are the Glorieta Sandstone. This is capped with a thin bed of the San Andreas Limestone which is in turn overlaid by knolls that are erosional remnants of the Artesia Formation (formerly mapped here as Bernal Formation) and Santa Rosa Sandstone.
