Summary

Description
English: In a eukaryotic cell, the organellar DNA is present in much higher copies compared to the nuclear DNA. A shallow, low pass sequencing attempt will yield many more reads for organellar DNA than nuclear DNA, allowing for easier assembly, and thereby resulting in a more complete, and contiguous genome assembly.
