- It is a historically significant image of the artist at work by Rennie Ellis.
- It is an image of the artist in front of a historically significant painting, Gorge landscape, from the historically significant Pilbara series.
- It is of much lower resolution than the original. Copies made from it will be of very inferior quality.
- The photo is only being used for informational purposes.
- Its inclusion in the article adds significantly to the article because the photo and its historical significance are the object of discussion in Fred Williams.
