  • Blunt 1953, Laprade 1960, Berger 1993 & 1994, Feldmann 1996, Petzet 2000, and Neumann 2013 give 1664 for the date of completion, although two (Blunt and Petzet) say the evidence is circumstantial and not certain. Pérouse de Montclos gives "around 1662–1663" for creation. Tadgell 1980 gives 1667 or 1668. He is supported by Gargiani 1998 and partly by Beresford 1999, who gives "c. 1668?".
