English: Footbridge supports, Frosterley Footbridge no longer in use and we decided against trying to cross via the tree trunk ---- 20 years ago possibly but highly unlikely.
This information was sent by Billy Allen on 2nd September 2009: "Was this bridge once known as "Kenneth's Bridge" named after the guy that built it? I was born in Frosterley 71 years ago and have many happy memories, one of them was going over this bridge." Since I'm not a local I couldn't answer the question.
