English: Fonte da Água Brusca Salvador/Fonte do Baluarte, Salvador, Bahia, Brazil. "This fountain is set on the Ladeira da Água Brusca, where a water course used to run towards Água de Meninos. Although the façade is finished in mortar, the fountain has an intricate frontispiece with baroque volutes flanked by pinnacles. [...] The area must have been suitable for water springs, as the Fountain of Saint Antony can be found a little further up the hillside."--HPIP.

"Esta fonte se encontra na Ladeira da Água Brusca, onde descia um curso d'água que ia em direção a Água de Meninos. Embora tenha fachada com acabamento em argamassa, possui um frontispício bastante elaborado, com volutas barrocas ladeadas por coruchéus. [...] A zona deveria ser propícia às nascentes, pois, logo acima, pode‐se encontrar a Fonte de Santo António."--HPIP.
