"La Bandera consta de dos fajas horizontales: La superior azul claro y la inferior blanca, orlada de color plata, los colores y posición son los mismos que tiene la bandera del Departamento del Valle del Cauca, sin el ribete plateado. Es la misma que acordaron en la junta provisional de Gobierno las Ciudades Confederadas del Valle del Cauca, el 26 de Junio de 1811."
