DescriptionFiries, Church of St Gertrude - geograph.org.uk - 266994.jpg
English: Firies: Church of St Gertrude James Joseph McCarthy, often referred to as "the Irish Pugin" was the architect of this church, which is a twin of St Mary's in Lispole. The Ordnance Survey of Ireland use Fieries as the spelling of the name of the town, but Firies seems to be more commonly used, including on the signboard outside this church.
