Summary
Inside the perimeter of the Fallujah Liaison Team or F.L.T. compound. The F.L.T. was located about 1.5 kilometers east of the city of Fallujah on the Old Baghdad Highway between the city and Camp Fallujah. The F.L.T. was a civil-military operation center with daily interaction between Iraqi civilians and the U.S. Marines during the Iraq War. This photograph shows local Iraqis and civil affairs Marines from Detachment 4 of the 4th Civil Affairs Group at the courtyard of the F.L.T. compound where the meeting rooms where located. Photograph taken in the Fall 2004 just prior to the Battle of Fallujah.
