Description
English: A convoy of three huge Oshkosh 1070f trucks carry three equally huge Challenger Armoured Repair Recovery Vehicles across the sand in Oman.

CRARRV vehicles are off loaded at the Joint Logistics Support Base.

ARMOURED and heavy vehicles of the British Army landed ashore in Duqm, Oman, in preparation for Exercise Saif Sareea 3.

The mighty Oshkosh 1070F is used in conjunction with King GTS110/7 semi-trailer.

This combination can transport loads up to 75000 kg. This tank transporter is used to carry Challenger 2 MBT’s, armoured vehicles, artillery systems and other heavy loads.

It can also transport two lighter armoured vehicles, such as Warrior IFVs, or two shipping containers.

The Oshkosh 1070F is a tactical vehicle, designed to carry loads to the frontline. It can tow loaded semi-trailer over unimproved roads.
