English: Attractively detailed, with finely-carved terracotta festoons. The materials are red sandstone, red brick and red terracotta. Lord knows how red it was when first built - it has now undergone 133 years of weathering. Built by Royle & Bennett as School Board offices. Grade II listed. It now serves as the City Library, as well as providing office space.
