Remark: The following is inscribed on the reverse side of this postcard....
"Lewiston-Clarkston Electric Power plant about a mile from Asotin. Here is a 500 ft. fall from the new pipe-line. The old flume or ditch which is abandoned is visible lower down on the steep hill-side. Besides turning the mill wheels, this water furnishes Clarkston and Vineland with water & irrigates a large area of land. Another large ditch furnishes Lewiston water & still another Asotin's."
This structure still exists [2017], its geographic coordinates being 46°19'56.06 North, 117°4'35.76" West. The building abuts the north side of Asotin Creek Road about one-third of a mile west of the community.
