Nederlands: Het Scottish American War Memorial in Princes Street Gardens in Edinburgh, ontworpen door Robert Tait McKenzie. Het werd The Call 1914 genoemd en werd in 1927 onthuld. Het toont een infanteriesoldaat met kilt die naar Castle Rock kijkt. Achter het beeld staat een fries waarop rijen mannen achter een doedelzakspeler lopen. Het waren Schotse Amerikanen die het beeld aan de stad schonken om de moed van de Schotten in de Eerste Wereldoorlog te herdenken.
English: TheScottish American War Memorial in Princes Street Gardens in Edinburgh, was designed by R. Tait McKenzie. It was called "The Call 1914", and it was erected in 1927 and shows a kilted infrantyman looking towards Castle Rock. Behind the main statue is a frieze showing queues of men answering the call by following a kilted pipe band. The memorial was given by Scottish-Americans to honour Scots who had served in the first World War.
