English: Early Twinbrook circa 1959--Safeway was beyond the left from this scene. In the picture, the building with the rock facade on the left is McIntyre Hardware, then moving from left to right the signs say: High's, Bakery, Blue Ribbon Cleaners, Twinbrook Restaurant Tap Room, Bowling, G. C. Murphy's and so on. On the right, I recall Miles Shoes, My Shoppe, and Drug Fair to name a few.
