English: Plaque on a house which William Carrigan lived in from 1909-1924. The inscription is in Irish and reads: "An Canónach Liam Ó Carragáin P.P. M.R.I.A. Staraí Osraí Chónaigh sa teach seo,1909-1924. Sagart léanta, fial, dúthrachtach. "Glór na nGael" d'ardaigh an phlaic seo. 14/9/75" (English: The canon William Carrigan, Parish Priest, member of the Royal Irish Academy, Ossory historian lived in this house 1909-1924. Learned, generous, fervent Priest. This plaque was erected by Glór na Gael.14/9/75. ")
