Description

Divalinga quadrisulcata (d’Orbigny, 1845) - exterior of a left valve of the cross-hatched lucine, 1.15 cm across at its widest.

Family Lucinidae (Silurian to Holocene) - the lucine clams are infaunal, filter feeding bivalves occupying a variety of substrate types in marine to estuarine settings, including extremophile environments (e.g., anoxia, hydrothermal seafloor vents, cold seeps).
