Description
English: Countries colored in red have cultures with a lower level of emancipative values than Japanese culture. Countries colored in green have cultures with a higher level of emancipative values than Japanese culture. The concept of emancipative values was proposed by the German political scientist Christian Welzel in his 2013 book called Freedom Rising: Human Empowerment and the Quest for Emancipation.
