English: Day 183 of 2015. On my last morning in Detroit, the sun finally came out. I went for a walk downtown, and caught the light reflecting off the Blue Cross building onto the whimsical People Mover. The People Mover, in many ways, epitomizes the unfulfilled promise of Detroit and the severe lack of infrastructure and connectivity. For 75 cents, you can ride the People Mover in a continuous loop downtown. This would be useful if there were transit options to get there from other parts to Detroit, but there aren't.
