English: Deltar analogue computer at the DIV of Rijkswaterstaat. The Deltar was an analogue calculator that was used from 1960 to 1984 for the execution of the delta works. This calculator was specially designed and built for the complex calculations required to predict tidal movement and its consequences, for example due to dams, in the Delta area.
