Summary

A planned exercise by the US Army for 2020. The plan was set in motion in January 2020, and troop movements had begun. However in February 2020, it became clear that a global pandemic w:COVID-19 had taken root worldwide, and the DoD issued a Stop movement order in March. Remediation procedures kept department personnel largely from harm from the pandemic and subsequent plans were resumed after a suitable delay, on a case-by-case basis as determined by each commander. Subsequent Defender exercises are being planned.
