English: The original owners of De Kleine Konstantia or Konstantie, were Abraham Lochner de Villiers and Clara Hussey. She was a wealthy heiress while he was a ladies hat designer. In 1913 they purchased the homestead for 8250 pounds and entertained lavishly, while hosting many American visitors to their home.
