Nederlands: Familieportret van Pieter Cnoll, eerste opperkoopman te Batavia, zijn echtgenote Cornelia van Nieuwenrode en hun dochters Catharina (met waaier en hondje) en Hester (met ivoren doosje). Het gezin bevindt zich op het terras van hun huis te Batavia. Rechts twee Javaanse bediendes. Het schilderij staat ook bekend als 'Cnoll en zijn citroenen'.
