English: Portrait of David Horatio Tower (March 7, 1832–December 22, 1907), 19th century American mill architect, and civil engineer from Dalton, Massachusetts, whose Holyoke firm with his brother Ashley Bemis Tower, designed factory buildings in that city and across the world, including Canada, Brazil, Japan, the United Kingdom, Germany, India, and Australia. In addition to this work, David was also known for his work for Crane Currency in the construction of many of its mill buildings. He was also noted for his breeding of cattle on his farm in Dalton.
