Summary

Description
English: This map depicts the estimated diurnal temperature range over land from 1951 to 1980, based on the interpolation of ground level weather station data by Berkeley Earth. Diurnal temperature range refers to the difference between the warmest and coldest temperature recorded during each day. In most locations this is dominated the day-night cycle of heating and cooling, though in some locations weather variations also play a large role.
