Object history
Deutsch: Nach dem Jahre 1916 führte die Gemeinde ein auch im Dienstsiegel belegtes Wappen, in dem ein Haus nebst einem Baum den Begriff „Hof" und damit den zweiten Bestandteil des Gemeindenamens anspricht. Die Stelle des zweiten Baumes nahm damals noch ein silbernes Obereck ein, das vom Wappen der Grafen von Aichelberg abgeleitet war. Im Jahre 1959 legte die Gemeinde die jetzige, ansprechendere Form des Wappens fest. Diese Verbesserung wurde vom Innenministerium anlässlich der Flaggenverleihung am 15. August 1959 bestätigt.
