It was actually kind of weird to cross this street without a signal. You had to look for cars and trams in both directions.
However, at least in the Netherlands, you don't have to really pay attention to cars going in the same direction as you that are you going to turn right or left because they always have to yield to you and they do 99.9% of the time.
