(21.59 cm x 30.16 cm) Publisher: Tsutaya Juzaburo and Yamazaki Kimbei Credit Line: Museum purchase Label Copy: "This important print is from the first series to depict the daily lives of courtesans in the entertainment district of Edo. Published in three volumes, two volumes contained portraits of courtesans with seasonal flowers, and the third contained the courtesans own works of poetry. This album was published by Tsutaya J?zabur? (17501797), who would become Edos most influential publisher of Ukiyo-e prints in the late eighteenth century. It would set the standard for color printing during the last quarter of the eighteenth century." Label Copy (Spanish): "Este importante grabado proviene de la primera serie que represent las vidas cotidianas de las cortesanas en el distrito de entretenimiento de Edo. Fue publicada en tres volmenes, dos volmenes contenan retratos de las cortesanas con flores de las estaciones y el tercero contena las poesas de las mismas cortesanas.Este lbum fue publicado por Tsutaya J?zabur?
