Summary

Description Corkickle railway station in Whitehaven is a single platform affair with a bus-shelter like canopy. Request stop only, it is of far different appearance than when it was opened in 1855. The wall we see here is that of the former station building which, as is hinted at by the Sky dish, is now a private residence. On this wall was once mounted a fine glass canopy, again but a memory.
